The Best Homemade Face Masks for Everyone, Every Skin Type

All these masks use ingredients that are available in the kitchen. If not then in the market. But available and cheap. Very cheap.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar Complete Face Washbest homemade face wash for all skin types

Its pH count is almost 5.5 that is why apple cider helps greatly in maintaining skin pH level. It soothes irritation, fights breakouts, prevents clogging of pores, and controls sebum production, so not too dry or oily. You get even skin tone too. But the best part is (according to me of course), it can prevent aging along with diminishing existing wrinkles. It is called the “Fountain of Youth” after all!!!

The things you need:

The way you do it:

Add water and apple cider vinegar in 1:2 ratio. Shake well to mix. Take a small cotton ball or pad. Soak it in the mixture and rub it on the skin gently to wipe off all the dirt away. Stroke in one direction and do it with softness as you are working on a rose.

Once the skin had dried, apply moisturizer thoroughly do it every day before bed and after coming from outside. It has a really strong stance to subside it, try dissolving it in rosewater. Or add in 2-3 drops of pleasant-smelling essential oil. Even if it feels awkward there is the option of perfume.

2. Coconut Oil Face Cleanser

Weird? Well, I found it weird too that is why was hesitated to use it. But darlings! Doesn’t it work! Truly to say it is the best makeup remover that I have discovered so far. Natural and worthy.

Coconut oil is full of goodness for skin, hair, and health. The best part I found is its moisturizing power. It provides huge moisture to the skin keeping it lubricated, soft, supple and smooth. Hence, preventing shrinking, folding, twitching of skin a.k.a. aging. It protects.

It seeks out impurities from deep beneath. Coconut oil softens keratin caps thus making exfoliation easier. It is so light (in fact, from most other oils out there) that coconut oil can seep into hair follicles and go down deep inside cleaning everything bad from there. It dissolves the harden sebum trapped. Will you not try it now?

The things you need:

The way you do it:

Take a bit of coconut oil and massage it on your face for about 30 seconds or so. Then take a slightly warm towel and put it on your face. Again wait for 30 seconds or less. After that using the same towel pat on the skin and remove the oil.

Splash a bit of cold water to shrink the pores again. If you feel too oily also after that, then, can try using another mild cleanser.

3. Tomato Pulp Face Cleanser

I find this method to be a little bit difficult. Why? Hard? Expensive? Hell, no! The thing is I love tomato. Tomato is my life. All I need is tomato (hence the good skin).

It is not just it is tasty but it is great for applying on the skin (but I end up eating it all). When I first put on some tomato juice on my skin, it immediately starts itching. And my heavens! Did it scratch badly! It was so painful. (I thought I was having some allergic reaction but that is not possible as I have eaten them all my life).

It was that tomato juice was cutting off all the dirt and impurities from my face. That is why it was so painful. After I wash off my face turned instantly glowing and supple.

The things you need:

  • Tomato
  • 1Tsp milk
  • 1Tsp lemon juice

The way you do it:

Take your tomato and make a pulp of it with or without seeds and skin. Now in a bowl take 2Tbsp of it and add in the rest of the ingredients. Give it a good stir. Spread the cleanser on the face and let it rest for about 10 minutes.

Rinse with cold water and you are good to go. You can make it into bulk and store it in a dry cold place like the refrigerator for future use.
